Instability of the Thinking Mind

When a mind tries to think about a lot of things, it will not be able to remain stable regarding many things.

In fact, it may even mess up the very topics it is focusing on, because there simply isn't enough room to think about the same topics.

But that is fine, as it only happens occasionally. More often, it may just mess up unrelated topics.


Example:

  • Being unstable about the same topics
    • A moral philosopher may act immorally, but may come to regret it, as they were not acting in accordance with their own beliefs.
    • An electrical engineer may
    • When sleepy, anyone may mess up anything they're working on
  • Being unstable about different topics
    • A physics student may be clumsy about daily life matters.
